AI-Assisted Conversational Prototypes with Voxable

Last month, we released the Voxable Assistant which helps Voxable users expedite voice and chat app design by suggesting the next potential message in a script with a click of a button. We continue to explore ways we can expand the Voxable Assistant’s functionality to help teams automate their most repetitive, time-consuming tasks. 

Our goal is to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to give Voxable users superpowers so they can quickly create and iterate on their conversation designs consequently improving user experience and advancing the conversational AI industry as a whole. We’ve been gathering feedback from Voxable users and enterprise teams about additional ways we can support them and streamline their workflow. One of the tasks teams said they would like us to automate next is creating and testing a conversational prototype. 

Prototyping is still a challenge for most teams as there is no simple way to build and test prototypes. Currently, teams have to create their own elaborate soundboard, implement the application and NLU logic in a no-code platform, or hand off designs to developers to build the prototype. Each of these prototyping methods wastes a lot of time and money and unnecessarily complicates the process increasing the likelihood that the user experience gets lost in translation.

Automating Conversational Prototype Creation & Testing 

We plan to take Voxable’s preview mode one step further and support prototype testing. Teams will soon be able to automatically generate prototypes from their conversation designs and interact with them directly in the browser without having to implement anything. The ability to quickly create and test a conversational prototype helps teams gather essential data necessary to optimize the voice or chat experience. Automating the prototyping process means teams no longer need to implement an NLU model or application logic to perform a prototype test. The Voxable Assistant will take on that task so teams can immediately preview interactions and iterate on their conversation designs. This accelerates teams’ time to market as well as saves companies money by preventing them from building the wrong solutions.
